Since being called to the pastoral ministry in 1982, Paul has served as pastor in three churches - in Chippenham, Worcester and Bath. For three years he was the President of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. He has been involved in a variety of ministerial training schemes. He has also been engaged in pastoring pastors.
Paul is married to Edrie and they have four children and ten grandchildren. For the last thirty years Paul and Edrie have had to live with Edrie’s serious neurological degenerative disease. This has shaped their ministry and it has proved God’s faithfulness. He has written several books on a variety of pastoral subjects.
Paul retired from full time pastoral ministry three years ago. He runs a Bible training course in Birmingham and lectures at London Seminary. Paul loves reading military history and he is a life-time supporter of West Bromwich Albion.

Wesley Brewer is married to Isobel, and serves as a church officer at Lake Road Keswick. He is also a full-time evangelist with the Faith Mission, working across Cumbria and further afield. Wesley has a deep love for preaching God’s Word and is committed to sharing the gospel in a variety of settings. His main responsibility is evangelism around the area, through preaching, one to one evangelism and youth meetings.

Nigel Kenny is Scotland Officer for the The Christian Institute and prior to that practised law for 20 years.
The Christian Institute is a non-denominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. Nigel is married to Anne, and they have two children. Nigel regularly preaches in churches all over Scotland.

This year the organising committee invited local church leaders to be involved in producing a programme for the Wednesday afternoon and evening. Three church leaders accepted the offer, the Rev. Canon Paul Watson (Diocesan Canon Missioner), Rev Stuart Lawson (pastor of Oban Baptist Church) and Rev Alex MacCallum (pastor of Oban Parish Church). Together they are organising the above events, ‘Messy Church’ on Wednesday afternoon and a time of ‘Worship, Praise and Testimony’ for Wednesday evening.
